An established firm of chartered accountants based rurally just outside of Uckfield, East Sussex, are looking for an experienced Practice Bookkeeper to join the team.

Because of the rural location you will need your own transport and to reassure, there is parking for all staff.

You may be AAT qualified but you will have experience within an accountancy firm in a bookkeeping or accounts production role. As you'll already be aware, this type of role is certainly varied and you'll be working with a mixed industry portfolio of clients

Overview of the job:

• Ideally you'll have experience across Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
• Compile and submit VAT returns
• Complete accurate bank reconciliations
• Prepare regular management reports including profit and loss, analysis of actual spend against budgets and cash-flow projections
• Produce sales invoices and statements / credit control where required

Although this is a full time role, I would be keen to hear from any part time candidates who have the required skill set.
