A great opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and hardworking Mechanic to join the Engineering team here at Brands Hatch circuit. This role will involve working within the Engineering team, maintaining our fleet of support and event vehicles that assist in both our day to day running and our retail events at the circuit. This role will involve working on a variety of vehicles from high performance BMW M4s, Formula 4 and rally spec Toyota GT86s to general pool cars, circuit and maintenance vehicles.

Jobs duties will include:

• Maintaining our fleet of retail event vehicles to the company’s high standard
• Conducting thorough inspections of our event vehicles on the completion of our retail events
• Working with the Engineering team to determine the source of mechanical and electrical problems and work to solve issues efficiently and comprehensively
• When required, work as part of the team to complete full scale rebuilds including gearbox and engines.
• Assisting with the cleaning of vehicles ensuring they are of a suitable presentation standard ahead of our event days
• Being aware of and ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety acts and guidance.

You will be / have:

• A good understanding of mechanical engineering with a recognised qualification i.e. City and Guilds 
• Previous experience within a mechanical role
• A can-do attitude and be willing to assist more junior members of the team
• Full UK driving licence is essential for this role
• Pride in your work and want to complete tasks to the best of your ability
• A track record of meeting strict deadlines
