Part Time Payroll Lead – Circa 30 Hours PW

£35,000 pro rata (negotiable above)

Payroll Lead required for an industry leading specialised business based in Billingshurst. Our client has a highly supportive and collaborative office environment of long-standing staff, and has built a solid reputation based on excellent customer service and delivery. Having worked with this client for many years we've received nothing but positive feedback from candidates there.

This role has arisen to cover a 12 month maternity leave contract. The ideal candidate will be able to start in April to enable plenty of handover before the maternity leave starts in June. However, there is some flexibility when it comes to the commencement date of the contract. Due to company growth and expansion, there could be projects available to this individual towards the end of the contract which could lead to a permanent position.

Overview of duties –

• Administrating the monthly payroll and ensuring all key deadlines are met as required;
• Working with the company's appointed payroll bureau to ensure accuracy of the monthly payroll;
• Being the lead contact for payroll queries from company employees;
• Being responsible for the companies P11D filing;
• Coordinating the company pension schemes;
• Overseeing weekly expense payments.

You will be an experienced payroll professional who is self-motivated and able to work effectively to meet deadlines.
