Due to continued company success and expansion, a key client of ours is looking to recruit an Operations Assistant to join their Crayford office. This individual will work alongside the General Manager and Sales Manager as part of a small but growing team and play a pivotal role in continuing to drive the branch forward. This business within the manufacturing industry and deals with general trade customers.

This person will be responsible for processing quotations for new orders, ordering products from the factory and managing the relationship with colleagues there, and ensuring on time delivery of orders through logistics management with both the factory and other branches.

This role would suit an ambitious, hardworking individual who will see the potential in joining a business during this stage of their growth and development.

Candidates need have:

• Experience within a similar operations / administration / logistics role.
• A good level of IT skills.
• The ability to learn quickly and retain information as they will need to learn a wide range of products.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work to targets.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• A very good phone manner.
