About the Role

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) has an opportunity for a Course Administrator to provide efficient and effective administrative support to Service Training Centre.

Duties include:

- To undertake administrative work as directed by the Training Centre Resources Manager.

- Coordinate the administration of all approved organisational training.

- To map all training events to the Corporate Annual Training Plan prior to the booking of any events.

- To book accommodation and external training venues and providers, where appropriate, using internal processes.

- To input and assist in the development of the corporate databases as required.

- Operate effective bring forward systems.

- Resolve telephone queries within remit of role responsibility, or direct to relevant person where not appropriate.

The successful candidate should be educated to GSCE level or equivalent and have excellent keyboard skills. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as are good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
