About the Role

Little Horsted is a successful small rural school situated just off the A26 near Uckfield. Inside the school is a highly motivated community where pupils are encouraged to develop their full potential in a Christian, caring environment. The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational, innovative and talented teacher who has a very good knowledge and understanding of teaching across the primary age range. The successful applicant will teach our Year 3 and Year 4 Class in September 2017. They will have the opportunity of working closely with very experienced colleagues across the Key Stage 1 and 2 teaching and support staff team. They should have a good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures, children with SEN and policies that are essential in a primary school setting. The Governors may consider awarding additional teaching and learning responsibility and pay to a qualified teacher with significant areas of expertise. They would also be interested in colleagues with less experience who have the potential to grow, learn and develop in their teaching career while at Little Horsted C.E. School. Further information and an application pack may be downloaded from the school's website or by contacting the school -  Visits to the school are strongly encouraged - just phone the school office

Additional Information

From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
