Unlike many other FTSE 100 positions at this grade, this is a true business partnering role. Sitting tight within the global senior finance team of an extremely diverse business, you'll be highly visible across the group and collaborating with a range of senior colleagues - from the EMEA Tax Director to the CFO - on global tax planning.

And if this alone isn't enough to keep you on your toes, the second core function of this role certainly will as it'll open your eyes to the truly conglomerate nature of their business activity. As well as your global duties, you'll be the person steering all tax activity for Western Europe, including managing an ambitious local and international team.

About You

• You'll hold either a mixed tax background or a sole corporate tax, VAT, or transfer pricing profile (in-house or advisory) with the motivation to work in a broader tax capacity
• Experience in dealing with cross border and international taxation issues, including an understanding of ongoing global tax issues
• Holds a professional qualification in taxation (ie. CTA, ATT, or equivalent)
• The ability to work alongside and communicate with senior management... basically we're looking for a robust personality and confidence

Whilst there are several key requirements listed above, this role does lend itself to various tax profiles, acknowledging that each person can bring different skills the the hiring table.
