Night support workers required for residential childrens homes based in the Hove area.

You will be working for a reputable local Social Care provider, which supports young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, within residential settings, in Hove, East Sussex.

You will be covering wakeful night duty within the residential service. This will involve staying awake throughout the night, to ensure the safety and welfare of the young people in your care at all times.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have the ability to work off your own initiative whilst maintaining calm attitude at all times. You will also:
--Have previous experience within residential care. Preferably with young people.
--Have knowledge of childcare practice and development.
--Preferably hold NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care but this is not essential.

You will be working 1 to 4 shifts per week on a rota basis. You can expect to earn a starting salary up to £17,705 for this role. Other benefits include, paid holiday, pension contribution and the chance to undertake health and social care dimplomas.
