About the Role

We are seeking to employ a dedicated Caretaker who will be responsible for ensuring that our school is a secure, clean, well maintained environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of health and safety requirements and will be able to undertake cleaning, routine maintenance, basic repairs and DIY tasks.

The exact hours and working pattern will be agreed on appointment. It is anticipated that the core hours will be at least 20 each week, to be worked weekday mornings between 06.30am to 10.30 a.m. approximately.

Some flexibility will be required to cover holiday opening and occasional evening and weekend events. As primary key holder, the Caretaker will be required to attend out of hours emergencies.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
