About the Role

Little Horsted is a successful small rural school situated just off the A26 near Uckfield.

Inside the school is a highly motivated community where pupils are encouraged to develop their full potential in a Christian, caring environment.

From September 2016 our Nursery has become part of our school.

Children can start from the term before they are 3.

Our vision is to provide outstanding progressive early years education throughout our Early Years Foundation Stage that continues on through our School Village Community.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational, innovative and talented Nursery Supervisor who has a good knowledge of assisting the  teaching of Foundation Stage 1 and 2 children in a Nursery, pre-school, early years or school setting.

Prospective candidates should have a level 2 qualification and good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures and policy's that are essential in an Early Years setting.   

The position is a part time job share on a Wednesday and Friday.

Additional hours may also be available. 

The Nursery Supervisor role will be supported by the Early Years Team that consists of experienced and dedicated teaching and support staff in a school that is in a stunning rural location.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2009 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
