Personal Injury Claims Handler, Kent Up to £27,000 plus good benefits and excellent ongoing development/progression.

My client is an Independent and privately owned insurance operation who are continually expanding. With this continued growth they are currently looking for someone to join their Injury Claims Team to manage your own caseload.

Reporting to a Team Leader who will be on hand to support and mentor you, the focus will be to effectively manage a portfolio of motor claims encompassing third party personal injury, property damage, credit hire and accident damage from first advice through to conclusion/settlement. Validating claims, investigating fraud where required and utilising your indemnity knowledge.
By exhausting all investigation avenues you will facilitate accurate and prompt assessment of liability. With a team focus you will provide excellent service to all stakeholders, ensure that indemnity spend is minimised with application of effective liability decision making and commercial considerations.
Apply accurate reserves in line with company guidelines and generate ideas to contribute towards the continuous improvement of the team.

We are looking for;
An experienced Claims professional with experience in dealing with Injury files.
You will possess excellent understanding of motor claims as a whole and have exposure to dealing with other files outside of injury.
You will be looking to build on your already established career in.
Possess great attention to detail, strong customer service skills, ability to fact find and analyse information to result in accurate decision making.
Self starter, persuasive with strong and confident communication skills.
My client will also consider Fee Earners from Solicitors that have relevant experience of dealing with insurance files.
