About the Role
ACRES is making learning happen in East Sussex, building on our existing strengths and partnerships to establish ourselves as an outstanding learning provider. To support this, we are reshaping our business development activities.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to lead our Business Development team and provide effective strategic management to enable us to meet our aims of:
- Providing a responsive and inclusive curriculum that reflects the identified needs of our communities
- Developing and sustaining stronger community relationships
- Further developing partnership working in order to engage with ‘hard to reach’ learners
The successful applicant will have proven strategic planning and organisational skills, be a great communicator, able to work to deadlines and prioritise their own workload and that of their team. The ability to analyse data and produce concise and developmental reports to inform our business plan is vital and you will have overall responsibility for planning and evaluating a responsive and engaging curriculum. You will lead a team of Business Development Co-ordinators, tutors (in respect of business planning) and our Examinations Officer.
The post of Business Development Lead offers an excellent opportunity to make an impact on the learning available to adults within our communities and lead your team to enable us to realise our strategy.
