Experienced Specialist EBD teacher covering KS 3 & 4 required for a residential childrens service based in Burgess Hill. School caters for an average of 4 students ranging from year 7 to year 11 with challenging behaviours and complex emotional needs.

Working with children who are "looked after" and may have additional SEN as identified in their EHCP's, the successful candidate will have experience in these challenging backgrounds and will also be committed to improving the outocmes for young people.

The curriculum is based around KS 3 and 4 with additional AQA units and also the ASDAN short courses with the awards in English and Maths at GCSE and functional skills level.

Teachers will be required to teach a range of subjects and subject support and guidance is provided by teachers in other My Choice schools.
