Statistical Underwriter – Kent - £18-£20k – Plus Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Statistical Underwriter to underwrite travel insurance schemes on behalf of and exciting and innovative travel insurance company. You will be developing long term relationships with clients and using traditional underwriting skillsets with 'outside the box' underwriting to provide a leading edge service.

Responsibilities

• Statistical Underwriting.
• Loss Ratio Management
• New Business Negotiations
• URV Referral Management
• Claims Audits
• Policy Wording Management
• Account Management
• Broker Liaisons
• External Underwriting Queries

You will need underwriting experience to apply for this role, as well as excellent understanding of the travel industry. Ideally you will be experienced in negotiation and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
