About the Role
Rotherfield Primary School serves the parish of Rotherfield and the surrounding areas including Crowborough, Mark Cross and Mayfield. We are expanding to a one form entry school in September 2016.
We are a highly motivated, friendly and inclusive team seeking to appoint a joint role of Teaching Assistant/Midday Supervisory Assistant. The hours will be as follows:
Teaching Assistant - Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 8.30am - 3.30pm (includes 30 minutes lunch break) - Tuesday & Thursday - 8.30 - 12.30pm Midday Supervisory Assistant - 30 minutes each day included in the hours above.
We welcome applications from experienced assistants and those working towards the Teaching Assistant Qualification. The ideal candidate needs to be positive, professional and motivated and show a keen interest in the development and education of young children and also be able to work as part of a team.
The roles will involve supporting the class teachers, working in small groups, individual support and lunchtime supervision.
