A leading regional law firm based in central Tunbridge Wells are looking to appoint an Accounts & Tax Assistant and join the established Private Client department.

Reporting to the Personal Tax Manager, you will assist with the provision of accounting and tax compliance services for trustees, executors and private individuals. The office is centrally based and a short walk from Tunbridge Wells train station and local bus routes.

About You

• Possibly AAT or ATT qualified although not essential
• Likely to have experienced gained from a professional services firm – legal or accountancy preferred
• Live local or a short commute to Tunbridge Wells, Kent
• Good IT skills with CCH Trust and CCH Personal Tax being advantageous

The role

• Completing and auditing accounts for a variety of trusts and estates
• Preparing the self-assessment tax returns for trusts, estates and individuals
• Preparing tax certificates for beneficiaries and assisting with tax reclaims
