Compliance Manager, Kent. Up to £60,000 plus benefits and potential annual bonus.
This Financial Services Operation is looking for an individual to provide advice and support to companies across the group on all compliance issues.
Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of compliance procedures and processes, including training requirements as required.

This is very much an operational compliance role and the successful candidate will need to have extensive knowledge of FCA compliance for Companies, Individuals and Appointed Representatives. A working knowledge of Data Protection Act for retaining, sharing and disclosure of information and a practical and commercial approach to risk.
The key to success in the role, will be an awareness of the business needs / context when delivering guidance, and the scope to take a managing risk perspective alongside the delivery of clear and professional direction.

Responsibilities:
Implementation and review of published compliance policies.
Assist in the design and implementation of training programs.
Work closely with and advise managers on Regulatory issues.
Advise on Money laundering, fraud and other financial risks.
Review documentation, publications and advertisements for compliance with regulations.
Attend to necessary applications, returns, notifications and changes and licences.
Review systems and controls.
Ongoing monitoring and reviewing, implementing review programs.
Provide compliance input for new products, developments and initiatives.
Correspondence with Regulators and visits when necessary.
Review Risk Registers.
Update senior management on relevant changes to regulation.
