Commercial Claims Team Leader/Manager, Kent. Up to £40,000 plus excellent benefits.
Working for a leading UK insurance brand, you will be responsible for looking after a small team of handlers as well as handling your own portfolio of claims.
Responsible for overseeing the claims function, which includes a team of 3 handlers currently.
Ensuring the delivery of a highly effective claims service at all times to mainly commercial, but also some personal clients.
Allocating work, monitoring and managing daily workflow, and ensure that the claims function operates within company and industry guidelines.
You will typically handle some of the larger and more complex cases.
On occasion visiting clients to review claims and assist them through the claims process as an added value service.
Liaise with, monitor and build relationships with key insurers.
Manage relationships with and performance of third party service suppliers.
To apply;
You must have previous experience of working and leading others within a commercial claims team.
Sound technical understanding of commercial SME claims with a bias towards property and liability.
Demonstrate the ability to manage and lead a team.
Strong communication and organisation skills.
Experienced in handling commercial claims files.
