Senior Commercial Underwriter – Kent – Up to £40k DOE

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Underwriter to work out of their Kent office, underwriting commercial property and casualty cases via a portfolio of brokers. This is a senior position and as such you will be expected to provide technical assistance/guidance to more junior colleagues and other internal departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Underwriting MTA and Renewal business
Build and maintain broker relationships including broker visits and review meetings as required
Contribute to the profitable growth of the account
Work with department to maintain and improve retention of business
Review of late notified claims
Maintain strong working knowledge of products and current market
