Job Title: AD Apprentice

Salary: £10,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 9-5

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to start a career in General Insurance. This role of Apprentice is an important position within the company, which will be tailored to support the growth of the individual, you will also be provided with a dedicated trainer who will be on hand to support and guide you through your development journey.
The role will initially be on a 24 month paid contract basis where the above training is funded by the Company, successful Apprentices at the end of the year will be selected for alternative / permanent roles based on their performance.

During the program you will achieve knowledge and skills in:
• Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
• CII Foundation Insurance Test
• NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Providing Financial Services
• Institute of Customer Services TrainingMark accredited Customer Excellence Program

Role Overview:

As an Apprentice you will learn the role of a Claims Handler gaining experience by supporting our existing team in various areas of the claims journey as well as being given the opportunity to engage in other projects within the business and experience what goes on in other areas and teams.
The company's aim is to put the fun into Insurance and along with the fast paced growth of the group give an opportunity to receive first class training and coaching within a supportive environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

You will be providing assistance to the existing claims insurance teams within a friendly office environment and the job role will consist of:
• Keeping claims systems updated with electronic logs of messages and incoming/outgoing post
• General insurance administration tasks as required
• Liaise with other insurers and third parties in relation to the companies insurance needs
• Answering the phone and dealing with customer queries
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key insurer personnel
• Adhere to TCF and FCA requirements
• Take part in technical and soft skills training as part of your personal development
• To adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance and Treating Customers Fairly
• To ensure that DPA, FCA & TCF and other regulatory requirements are met.
