This company provide both personal and commercial lines to brokers and direct customers.
They are looking for an individual to play an active role in technical projects including those aimed at progressing internal underwriting protocols for perils such as flood and subsidence.
Acting as a technical referral point on underwriting and related issues and provide guidance to underwriters when needed.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues (and where applicable customers and business partners)
Play a role in the departmental training and coaching programmes, including the preparation of training materials, delivery of training and individual technical coaching.
Prepare and co-ordinate the annual training and competency testing for Household underwriters.
Maintain the claims and underwriting liaison and co-ordinate the personal lines non-disclosures.
Represent the household underwriting teams at various development meetings.

To apply you must have;
A sound understanding of Household Insurance, ideally within the mid-high net worth arena.
Coupled with experience of Product Development and/or Underwriting.
Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills.
Well organised and able to demonstrate a proven track record of negotiating and influencing others.
