Senior Claims Negotiator - 6-12 months maternity contract Property and Liability Kings Hill £20,000-£35,000 + benefits Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week between 8am-6pm A prestigious client based in Kings Hill is actively seeking a Senior Claims Negotiator to join their Property and Liability claims team. This is a very busy and varied position, an excellent client to work for! • Manage your own portfolio of household claims • Assist with technical supervision, administration and organisation • Authorise claim payments within limits of authority • Have sufficient contact with staff to ensure any problems of morale or misunderstanding are effectively dealt with • Assist in coaching and training, recruiting and promotion of staff • Ensure large loss procedure is adhered to • Liaison with the Underwriting departments • To assist the Head of department in the running • Ensure all verbal and written complains are dealt with in accordance • Keep up to date with relevant case law, statuses and procedure agreements • Prove own technical competence in accordance with T&C guidelines Person Specification: • Confident communicator • Structure workload effectively • Ideally around 4years experience in a household and or commercial property claims handling role • CII Qualifications - desirable • Strong telephone and administration skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines • Computer literate • Supervisory experience If you are interested in this vacancy and would like to find out more please contact Laura from Select Appointments.
