Broker Response Insurance – Customer Service and Administrator

£16,500 per annum
Responsibilities:
• Work within the parameters of the agreed business plan for operational underwriting
• Providing support to the team leader by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPI's and SLA's
• To provide our panel of brokers and intermediaries with support for new and existing policy operations enquiries
• To work in accordance with the guidelines of the Telephone Protocol
• To offer appropriate advice in line with operational underwriting guidelines and within the individual authority limits
• Ensure all manual processing is completed within MID requirements
• To recognise and log complaints effectively, in accordance with the complaint procedure
• Know, understand and apply the principles of TCF, and report any potential area of risk to your line manager
• Adhere to FSA, TCF and Data Protection Regulations.
• To identify any training needs and take part in training as necessary
Qualifications:
• The ability to answer incoming calls in a professional manner
• Demonstrates a sound understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Well organised and demonstrates excellent attention to detail
• Achieved Grade C or above in English and Maths GCSE's
• Demonstrates ability to prioritise workflow volumes
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Experience in handling incoming phone calls.
• Basic insurance knowledge is preferable
