Our client are an international, award winning electrical & mechanical components company based in smart offices and warehouse facility in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. They are seeking a hardworking, reliable and efficient Production Assistant/ Assembly Technician. You will ideally have some practical experience of assembly, calibration and testing of electro-mechanical components. Reports to: Production/ Engineering Manager Job Description: • Work closely with members of the production team • Undertake work on electro-mechanical products including assembly, calibration and product testing • Work in a timely and efficient manner in-line with company and customer specifications and tight deadlines • Supports the Customer Service team • Adhere to quality control standards and take responsibility for own work • Achieve weekly production output targets set by Manager Person specification: • Experience of hand & power tools for assembly and calibration of electro-mechanical products • Practical experience including soldering, cabling, chassis wiring, gluing and product labelling and packaging • Able to interpret engineering drawings • Attention to detail, accurate and efficient • Team player with good communication skills Benefits in return: Starting pay rate: £6.76 per hour (increasing after 6 months) Pension scheme included 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Free parking Part of a friendly, close-knit team and award winning international company This is a fantastic opportunity offering progression and learning opportunities.
