**Chef Manager – Dagenham/Greater London - £27,000 - £29,000**
Our client, one of the UK's leading contract caterers are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work in this busy staff dining area in their large contract catering unit in Dagenham.
You will have a keen eye for detail, possess a strong financial understanding to set & achieve budget whilst controlling labour costs effectively. The selected candidate will have a solid experience in Catering management ideally within the retail industry and be highly commercially focused with the ability to constantly drive business and develop a large team.
Responsibilities:
• Managing a large & versatile team of up to 25 staff
• Responsible for all food and beverage production
• All administration & paperwork, including P&L, payroll, stock & rotas
• Ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene is adhered to at all times
• Maintaining company policy's
• Achieving KPI targets set by client
You will be a strong and inspiring Manager, with excellent culinary skills and strong organisational skills. You will need to hold a professional cookery qualification, and have experience working within a similar contract catering unit. An intermediate food safety and health and safety certificate is desirable however not essential as training will be provided within the company.
