We are looking for a candidate to support the commercial and technical divisions to prepare responses, prepare proposals for tendering purposes and essentially estimating on projects.

The company have a global client base with offices nationwide and have been successfully established for over half a century.

This is a new role due to company growth working alongside the Business Development Director where progression into Senior roles can be achieved with the right work ethic shown.

This position requires a candidate who has experience with tenders/proposals/bids and is essentially good with figures/estimates.

Typical duties in this role will involve:

* Liaising with Engineering and Commercial Divisions to ascertain prospective work requirements.

* Understanding engineering drawings and specifications to produce concise and effective technical proposals.

* Generation and maintenance of Tender documentation and its associated compliance documentation.

* Support sales heads, deliver technical presentations as and when required.

* Identify and collate project risks.

Suitable candidates will have the following:

* Ideally a HNC or relevant engineering degree.

* Ideally experience in structural steelwork or a closely aligned engineering industry.

* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

* Excellent communication and written skills, confident and adaptable.
