AD Motor Claims Handler, Kent. Up to £19k plus good benefits and reward package.

Dealing with allocated Accidental Damage claims in a cost effective and efficient way within company and regulatory guidelines.
You must have experience of handling AD Motor Claims.

You'll play your part in contributing to the company's financial objectives by delivering against the overall business plan in accordance with individual and company targets.

Work within agreed claims processes in order to deliver the business plan in line with claims practices, procedures and philosophies.
Provide support to the Claims Team Leader by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPI's and SLA's.
Pro-actively process claims from first notification through to final settlement, working in accordance with agreed principles and procedures.
Identify and pursue all potential recoveries from relevant parties.
Responding promptly and pro-actively to policy holder enquires, incoming telephone calls and correspondence using various tools available.
Maintain your claims portfolio, ensuring reserve management to ensure cost effective and timely settlement of all claims.
Adhere to FSA, TCF and Data Protection Regulations.

Key Skills and Knowledge:
Working knowledge of Motor claims and First Notification handling processes.
Demonstrate a strong financial awareness in terms of both claims reserves and business impact.
Demonstrate an understanding and application of claims negotiation, liability decision making and cost potential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
An understanding of legislation which effects claims handling e.g. RTA, Article 75, salvage categories etc.
Ability to manage and prioritise own workloads.
