Cost & Assistance Co-ordinator, Kent. Up to £20,000 plus benefits.
This role is responsible for the delivery of effective cost containment through liaising with overseas providers to manage complaints and queries regarding adjusted settlements.
Advising customers of the course of action taken, to ensure that they have confidence in the service provided and have a full understanding of the situation. Supporting the Emergency Assistance team by recording provider fees and other administrative duties.

Manage cost containment cases once invoices have been audited.
Be the point of contact for customers in the process and keep them updated with the position of their outstanding medical bills.
Arrange the settlement of the adjusted invoices through liaison with the claims department.
Co-ordinate TPA's instructed by Claims.
Manage external supplier relationships via telephone and/or in writing .
Respond to queries from customers, brokers, providers and TPAs.
Work with the claims team to create and deliver training/feedback on cost containment and recoveries.
Research and analyze data to identify cost containment opportunities.
Review claims paid files to establish recovery potential.
Update and develop improved cost containment and reporting .
Providing an exceptional service and demonstrate that you pay due regard to customers and treat them fairly.
Update assistance records with the appropriate case fee.
Support Assistance and Auditor with administrative support.

To apply you'll be;
Educated to A-level standard or NVQ level 3 in management or a suitable equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster confidence with the customer and negotiate with the providers.
Analytical skills.
Experience of complaint handling.
Excellent administration / organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure where hospitals and customers will be demanding.
Previous experience in a claims or complaints role within insurance or financial services a distinct advantage.
