Motor Underwriter ** Kent ** C£25k plus good benefits.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a well established, growing insurance organisation for a Motor Underwriter to join their Kent office.
Offering excellent ongoing development and training you'll be responsible for working closely with brokers and assisting them with both new and existing business enquiries.

Receiving presentations from brokers and provided new business quotations.
Reviewing renewals and preparing documentation to send out.
Handling mid term adjustments or changes to policies.
Ensuring service standards, company and regulatory guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Acting as a referral point for any junior staff.
Underwriting within your own authority levels, referring cases as appropriate to a senior underwriter.
Play a key part in the growth of each broker account, ensuring key targets and objectives are met.

You must have sound knowledge of Motor Insurance, preferably from an underwriting perspective.
Experience of dealing with high/non standard risks would be a distinct advantage.
Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have strong attention to detail.
Ability to build strong broker relationships.
