Early Years Foundation Stage  High Hurstwood CEP school is a rural school with 106 children on roll. We are a small school that feels like one big family! We take pride in maintaining a creative approach to all areas of the curriculum in order that children enjoy their time in school while also ensuring that all chdilren achieve their potential. We are looking for an excellent practitioner to teach our youngest pupils and will expect applicants to have knowledge and experience of teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Applicants will be expected to have high expectations of themselves and their pupils, and be willing to support the Christian ethos of the school. We can offer the succesful candidate a class of between 15 and 20 children and a purpose built Early Years classroom with dedicated outdoor learning area. The succesful applicant will have access to a range of professional development opportunities including additional opportunities through the St Mark's Teaching School Alliance. This position will commence in September 2014 and is for the duration of the maternity leave of the postholder. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
